The Watershed Organisation Trust (WOTR) is currently inviting applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Fundraiser, based in Pune, India.
The goal of WOTR is to ensure food, water, livelihoods and income security together with a growing quality of life to vulnerable and disadvantaged communities on a sustainable and equitable basis.
Key Job Responsibilities
The Fundraiser will perform the following functions-
- Develop a Communications, Marketing and Sales strategy to reach out to potential donors and client.
- Set fundraising and revenue goals and achieve them.
- Research and identify potential donors and clients amongst corporates, Foundations, HNIs and other institutions.
- Proactively deepen existing client relationships, develop new ones and support innovative partnerships under various corporate CSR initiatives.
- Write proposals and presentations to pitch for business development and fundraising; lead client meetings and follow up.
- Be responsible for day-to-day fundraising unit and build a team to deliver results.
- Use Social media such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter to increase WOTR’s visibility as well as partner with agencies to build brand WOTR.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Post graduate degree, a proven track record in fundraising and 5 to 7 years of experience in this field.
- Experience of strategic planning and execution of plans.
- Strong proposal writing skills and experience of leading teams towards achieving goals and targets.
- Strong management, persuasion, communication, presentation and negotiating skills.
- Flexibility to travel and willingness to attend meetings out of normal working hours.
