Global Communities is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Program Manager in Gaziantep, Turkey.
The Program Manager will oversee the day to day management of the program, including designing and implementing program work plans, managing sub-grantees and local staff, and drafting program reports.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Program Manager will perform the following functions-
- Work with the Program Director and Finance Manager to track program budgets and expenditures.
- Draft program work plans, weekly/monthly/quarterly reports, success stories, and other correspondence as required.
- Supervise a team of approximately 5-10 local staff.
- Oversee day to day program activities to ensure that activities are implemented in accordance with donor-approved work plan and budget.
- Work with local partners ensuring QA&QC systems are adhered too and close coordination is undertaken to implement the remote management techniques of Global Communities.
- Ensure that a capacity training program is implemented for the local partner organizations.
- Represent Global Communities at relevant cluster/sector working group meetings.
- Provide concrete training and on-the-job mentoring for local national staff.
- All other duties as assigned.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- A Masters Degree in a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of progressively senior international development experience.
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
- At least 3 years of experience working in emergency, post-conflict, or post-disaster settings.
- Willingness to live and work in a volatile environment with security/movement restrictions.
- Prior experience in remote management desirable.
- Prior experience in the military or security sectors desirable.
- Proficiency in USAID rules and regulations; prior experience working on USAID-funded programs, experience working on USAID/OFDA-funded programs preferred.
- Ability to work in program areas, in compliance with donor regulations.
- Experience working with local national staff and building local capacity.
- Prior experience in the MENA region desirable.
- Fluency in English, working knowledge of Arabic and/or Turkish highly desirable.
