Oxfam has invited applications from eligible and deserving applicants for job/vacancy of Gender Equity Support Officer. The location of this job will be based in Oxford, UK. The nature of this position is fixed term/ 3 days per week for 12 months. Interviews are planned for 21st February 2013
Salary: £17,376 per annum (gross) based on hours worked

- Experience of designing initiatives that promote learning, and knowledge of appropriate methodologies and media that support these initiatives. (E)
- Excellent writing skills in English and ability to convey ideas clearly and succinctly; experience of producing a range of practical resources to support learning (E)
- Knowledge of gender equality approaches (E)
- Demonstrable skills in working in teams and influencing others, including people from different backgrounds and cultures (E)
- Strong self-awareness; ability to manage own learning and development, seeking and responding to feedback (E)
- A strong focus on results; sets goals, plans and prioritises effectively, monitors quality and progress of work against plans, establishes high level of performance and sets an example to others (E)
- Ability to speak French, Spanish or Portuguese (D)
