Oxfam is seeking applications from experienced, qualified and deserving applicants for job/vacancy of Social Media Manager. The location of this job will be based in Digital Communications Team, Communications Division, Oxford, UK.
Salary
£28,960-£36,090 (+ Market Supplement)
Skills and Competence
Essential
- Comprehensive operational knowledge of Social Media primary channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube & Google+ (eg. Using Facebook Insights tool and posting content on all channels)
- Experienced in social acquisition, such as Facebook’s paid activities including sponsored stories, pay per click.
- Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal and the confidence and ability to represent Oxfam at external events.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, experienced in proactive collaboration across divisions.
- Positive team player who is solution focused.
- Good content writing skills.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
Desirable
- Proven track record in delivering a Social Media strategy.
- Technical understanding of FBML, HTML and web applications.
- Experience in using Social Media monitoring tools such as Brandwatch and Tweetdeck.
- Contacts in key channels across the Social Media world eg. Facebook, Twitter Youtube and Google.

- Occasional travel away from Oxford is involved.
