UNV announces vacancy for the post of Portfolio Manager (West Africa and Ireland States) and is seeking applications from the deserving applicants. Job location is Bonn, Germany. Fluency in English and working knowledge of French is required. Knowledge of additional UN languages is desirable.
Qualifications and Experience :
- Master’s degree in social sciences, political science, public or business administration, economics or development fields.
- 5 years of relevant professional experience and proven track record in managing and implementing development programmes and projects in developing countries.
- 2-3 years of working experience with an international organization, preferably the UN.
- Experience in managing volunteers and volunteer programmes and/or in a development context involving volunteers is highly desirable.
- Experience and familiarity in the region of West Africa is desirable.
Language Requirements:
- Fluency in English and working knowledge of French is required. Knowledge of additional UN languages is desirable
