UNDP is looking for Atlas HCM Technical/Functional Analyst and requires applications from the qualified applicants. Job location is Copenhagen, Denmark. Initial contract period is of one year and expected duration of assignment is 1 year(extendable). Excellent oral and written communication skills in English is essential and knowledge of a second UN language would be an asset.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Application Support and Issue Resolution Processes:
Responsible for ongoing support of Atlas HCM, including the following sub-processes and procedures:
- Provides technical and functional support for users, including fixing immediate problems as well as looking for longer-term system improvements
- Incident management – create, update, close production issues
- Under the direction of the Manager of the Team, configures changes to Atlas, including both regular and ad-hoc updates to the system and oversight of associated procedures
- Assists users in optimized use of Atlas HCM and Global Payroll
- Tracks recurring issues with a view to providing longer term solutions
- Support to partners by providing data extracts of both HR and payroll related data
- Works closely with colleagues in OIST to address any system performance issues
Application Development Processes within the Atlas HCM module to ensure that enhancements to the application will be undertaken in a carefully planned manner and include the following sub-processes:
- Defines and manages changes to the Atlas HCM application, including execution, co-ordination of testing, and sign-off
- Standard change implementation in line with corporate change management procedures
- Ad hoc change implementation in line with corporate change management procedures
- Unit, system and integration testing
- User Acceptance Testing
- Maintains functional documentation
- Maintains technical documentation
Qualifications and Experience :
- Master’s Degree in Information Technology or Business Administration with at least two (2) years relevant experience or Bachelor’s Degree in the related areas with specialized relevant experience of at least four (4) years.
Experience:
- An IT and PeopleSoft professional with overall IT experience developing and supporting PeopleSoft HCM applications and customizations, particularly with PeopleCode, SQL/SQR and Global Payroll configuration.
- Two or more years of PeopleSoft technical experience working in a large organization, preferably a mix of governmental organization and commercial sector, giving a blend of understanding of a complex organization, with a customer-focused, service-oriented approach to payroll.
- Exposure to payrolls of more than one country/continent and working in a global context would be highly valued.
- Knowledge of UN/UNDP benefits and entitlements, as well as accounting and treasury procedures and processes, would be a plus.
- Familiarity with IPSAS and particularly with Standard 25, Employee Benefits, would be an advantage.
Language Requirements:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; knowledge of a second UN language would be an asset.
