UNICEF India has invited applications from qualified and deserving candidates for the job/vacancy of Monitoring & Evaluation Officer – Polio Eradication. Locations of this job will be based in Patna, Bihar-India. The incumbent will provide technical oversight and guidance to the monitoring, evaluation and data management requirements of the Communication component of the Polio Programme in Bihar State.
Education
- University degree in public health, epidemiology or medicine, combined with sound technical knowledge of management information systems and various computer applications.
Work Experience
- Minimum two years’ experience in data management and analysis, programme management, and project advocacy preferably in polio eradication programme. Past experience in synthesizing data related to polio epidemiology, supplementary immunization activities and communication programming for polio desirable.
Language Proficiency
- Fluency in written and spoken English and good knowledge of Hindi required. Candidate should have excellent communication skills, and ability in networking and advocacy, particularly, with Government and development partners in Patna.
