The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), Bangladesh is seeking applications for a national consultancy position in the Communication, Advocacy & Partnerships Section. Location of this consultancy will be base in Dhaka. Duration of this assignment is 5 months.
Purpose of Assignment
Develop donor tool kits in close collaboration with Programme Sections, and use the templates and the guidelines provided the office.One toolkit will be written for three programme areas (one toolkit per programme).Coordinate with the in-house designer to transform these toolkits into an attractive multi-media package.
Qualifications and experience required for the assignment
- Master’s degree in Communications,Social Science and/or Journalism or English.
- At least five years of practical professional work experience with progressively increasing responsibilities in proposals writing or communication campaigns.
- Excellent English language writing and editing skills
- Proven skills in information and communications, networking and advocacy
- Ability to draft clearly and concisely ideas and concepts in written and oral form.
- Knowledge of computer systems and applications
- Familiarity with UNICEF programmes and development issues.
- A basic knowledge of photography, graphics and video is considered as an added advantage.
- Work experience with UNICEF (Country office or National Committee) or other UN agency is an asset
