Applications are invited from the qualified candidates for the post of Policy Specialist UNDP Country Office/Policy Unit VA-2013/01/024 at United Nations Development Programme. Essential language is English. Duration of initial contract is one year and job location is Kabul, Afghanistan.
Qualifications and Experience :
- Master’s Degree in Economics, International Development or other related social science field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience including research and analysis, reporting and advocacy, communications, coordination, policy and programme support.
- Previous work experience with UNDP is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the region’s political, social and economic dynamics.
Language Requirements:
- Fluency in English language and excellent writing skills are required.
