The Embassy of Finland has opened the second 2015 call for proposals for the Fund for Local Cooperation (FLC). The eligible applicants are welcome to send their proposals, prepared in line with the FLC guidelines, by August 31st by 16.00. The second call is limited to the Priority area 1: Strengthening democratic and accountable society that promotes human rights and Priority Area 2: Promotion of inclusive green economy that creates employment.
The Fund for Local Cooperation (FLC) is a development cooperation instrument administered by Finnish Embassies in Finland’s partnership countries. The Fund is geared towards local actors, including civil society, institutions and private sector, to carry out well-targeted projects with a clear goal and sustainable outcome. The FLC supports the overall aim set for the Finnish Development Policy, i.e. eradication of extreme poverty and guaranteeing a dignified life for all as per the UN Millennium Development Goals.
The Fund supports annually approximately 10 projects all over the country with a total budget of 1 000 000 € per year. If you plan to apply as a private corporation, please fill in the form (see attachments). For NGOs, there is no specific form, but the application should provide the information requested.
