The Bankwest Foundation has announced the second round of Social Media Grants for not-for-profit organisations in Western Australia looking to develop their social media strategy for long-term impact.
The purpose of the grants is to better equip Volunteering Involving Organisations (VIOs) to communicate via social media channels with the primary aim of attracting and retaining a strong volunteer workforce.
Grants Information
There are up to 10x $10,000 grants available to charitable not-for-profit organisations that meet agreed selection criteria.

Eligibility Criteria
- The Bankwest Foundation Social Media Grants are designed for not-for-profit organisations that deliver programs or services with a broad community and geographical impact and are focussed on the attraction & retention of their volunteer workforce.
- To apply, an organisation must meet all of the following criteria:
- Must be operating for more than two years
- Must be an ACNC registered charity or NFP incorporated association that is a Volunteering Involving Organisation (VIO)
- Must provide a program or service that supports people living in Western Australia
- Must not include organisations which support activities that could be considered discriminatory, political, or religious advocacy or activism
- Must have a clear need and desire to grow and strengthen its volunteer workforce through a defined social media strategy for long-term impact
