More Details: I was involved with Operation SITA in 1996 – 1998, where we were given awareness inside buses and taxis ranks in Nelspruit, but our leader passesd on of HIV / AIDS and we never have no one to continue on the struggle of the epidemic.
Then I came to Johannesburg and worked for Hope Worldwide,
I started as a volunteer for 3years.
HBC Coordinator, for HIV / AIDS people who are infected and affected from 2004 and 2007. When I went home in Nelspruit I found out that there is a need for children, who are orphans to get counseling from school and after school. I was touched because that service is not in place. I tried from that time to establish one but invain because of not knowing the places to go and find help. And I never gave up then I went to volunteer to Child Line at Daantjie (Nelspruit). Going around identifying the needy children and orphans. Before I knew it I got the job that I’m working as a volunteer, Coordinator for Support Group of People Living with virus, and then I started to look for more information, now open to the counseling center.
So far now I organize some people who are volunteering to go and identify the orphans and vulnerable children and them to link with the registered organizations in my area where they are given food after school, sometimes before they go to school and the older ones are kept busy by dancing by one of our board members. We also having
three children in our day care center that runs into a garage of one child headed household.
I also find people who are interested in helping me to help our community to form an NGO under Section 21 and the NPO with the Department of Social Development in South Africa.
My NGO need assistance to be able to help the needies within our community.
