More Details: Projects for support
The following are projects we are currently looking for funding on;
School outreach activities
The idea is to reach out to 100, 000 girls and boys to educate them about their rights and life planning skills. The project needs a rough budget of US$15, 000
Building Safer Communities
People Serving Girls At Risk realizes the important role communities can play protecting and defending the rights of children. In this regard, the organization works towards building community watch-dog groups. Their core scope is to remain vigilant against cases of child sexual abuse, exploitation and trafficking of children from their communities. We would also like to train the committees in child rights, how to identify cases of child abuse, how they can document such cases, steps they can take towards redress, etc. US$5, 000 is required
Rehabilitation and reintegration
Another critical area in the fight against child sexual exploitation and trafficking is rehabilitation and the reintegration of the child survivors of the acts. The rehabilitation home is a milestone and provides the next step for reintegrating the children into their respective communities. US$100, 000
