African Media Aid ia non-partizan and non-governmental human rights and social development organisation founded in 2003. our areas of inventions include, heaalth, education, agric, media, micro-finance, youth development and community developemnt, policy advocacy to promote human rights, promote democratic governance, promoote media freedom, fighting corrution and seek social justice, fighting child labour and trafficking, combat HIV/AIDS,Malaria,TB and reduce martenal mortality, promote MDGs, women empowerment and promote environmental sustainability. Our main activites are advocacy, research, public eduaction, capacity building, community development, training among others currently we are not having any donor and our projects is being finished by the founders of the organization. Our current projects include “Rural Schools IMprovement Programme(RSIP. The five year programme is aimed at improving conditions in rural schools in Ghana who attend classes under trees and provide financial support to orphans and vulnerable to enable have access to education. Water for Better Rural Life” (WBRL)is aimed at providing clean water to rural communities who do not have access to clean water by providing them with boleholes with handpumps in order to reduce water borne diseases in Ghana, “Community Green Agric Revolutional Program” (Cgarp)is program designed for smallholder farmers to assist them financially and technically to help them expand their farms to increase production in the advent of world food crisis. Rural Women Anti-poverty Campaign”is targeted on small scale business women to help them improve their businesses by assisting with finance to better their lot. the target on on single parents especially. Three-in-One Youth Campaign” the campaign focuses on HIV/AIDS,Drug abuse and unsafe abortion which is on the icrease among the youth in Ghana. the campaign is to intensify public education among the youth both in school and out of school. Ghana Must Win Over Malaria & TB” is campaign agaist malaria and TB to make Ghana malaria and TB free country. Ending Violence Against Women and Girls Now” is aimed at fighting violence against women in Ghana by advocating to end cultural and traditional practices such FGM, among others.
