The Russian Union of Art Photographers and The Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation invites applicants to participate in annual photo contest, Young Russian Photographers. Summing up the results of the competition and competitive exhibition will be held in late June at the International Youth Festival in Ples photos – very beautiful city on the Volga River in the Ivanovo region.
Benefits-
- At the end of the competition the author of 10 best projects will be awarded the scholarships to young authors in the field of culture and art (36 000) and awarded diplomas to the winners of the competition.
- The jury may award special diplomas Jury.
- All participants in the final exhibition will be invited to the National Youth photofestival in Reach, and are provided with free food and accommodation.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- The contest invites professional and amateur photographers – the citizens of the Russian Federation. Age of participants – from 18 to 35 years old.
- Accepted author’s collections – projects, series, video, photo stories from 3 to 6 works, united by the single theme, idea, visual solution.
- There are no restrictions on the topics and image solutions, except those in the current legislation. Do not use the image logos and watermarks.
- The organizers have the right to cut or otherwise edit collections for the contest
- By submitting to the contest, the participant hereby confirms his authorship and agree to the terms and regulations of the competition. Incorrect information in the application form (name, date of birth, place of residence) gives organizers the right to exclude the author from among the contestants
- The Organizing Committee has the right to publish the work of members of the media to promote competition and exhibition without payment of the fee, but provided that the authorship.
- Allowed the author’s participation in the first round of the competition under a pseudonym, but is not allowed to re-register a person under another name
- Not considered work, participated in previous competitions “Young photographers of Russia.” In case of violation of the conditions of the series are removed from the contest.
- Members and alternate members of the Union of Photographers of Russia participated in the competition is free. Each author may submit up to two series.
