This section has no page limit, and the following supporting information is requested by the USAID:
- Brief biographical descriptions of key project personnel
- Draft letter of intent from any existing resource or implementing partners (recommended for everyone)
- Letters of support from countries in which you propose to operate (recommended for Transition)
Even though only one or two of the information are recommended, if you can manage to submit all of them, they will enhance your opportunity to be funded. Firstly, the brief biographical description is a brief resume, you should use about 200-500 words to describe the following aspects of each key personnel (the person(s) who are important or critical for the project, or the project will not be possible without them): name, educations and graduated years started from high school or associate degree, expertise or professional skills related to the project, work or other experiences related to the project, honors and memberships, articles or publications, etc. Secondly, you need to get one draft letter of intent from each of the resources and partners you have mentioned in your proposal, which should describe the task, work, material, space and facility, financial supports, or any other supports they will offer once the proposal is funded. The letters have to be on formal letter paper with heading and contact information of the partners. Thirdly, if you are applying for the Transition Grant of long term funding, you have to submit a support letter from the government of your country to show that the country agree to your grant application and the project.
The following three standard forms should be filled and signed by the applicant and submitted as electronic PDF files:
- Application for Federal Assistance (SF-424)
- Cost Application Information (SF-424A)
- Assurances – Nonconstruction Programs (SF-424B)
