Applications are invited for the Blair Hargrave/Colliers International Scholarship to be awarded to a Bachelor of Property or Bachelor of Property conjoint candidate who has paid the fees, or arranged to pay the fees for full-time enrolment in the Department of Property, University of Auckland.
Scholarship Description
This scholarship was established in 2006 and is financed by Colliers International New Zealand Limited. The scholarship commemorates the contribution made by Blair Hargrave in encouraging young people within the property industry. Blair was Colliers’ longest serving staff member; he passed away in 2005.
Colliers International offers the scholarship to encourage and reward excellence in the study of property, property management and valuation at The University of Auckland and support those seeking to complete a degree directly associated with the property.

The Scholarship is tenable by the students who are New Zealand citizens or permanent residents of New Zealand.
One Scholarship is awarded annually for a period of one year amounting to $5,000. Scholars awarded the scholarship in Year 2 of their qualification may be awarded the scholarship for Year 3.
The basis of selection takes equal consideration of: academic merit as determined by all Undergraduate Bachelor of Property, or Bachelor of Property Conjoint results, as well as communications and interpersonal skills and potential to succeed in the property profession.
The Scholarship’s emoluments are paid in two instalments, one in the first semester and one in the second semester.
