Dublin Institute of Technology invites application for Fiosraigh PhD Scholarship Extension Scheme for Research Students in the field of Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Engineering and Technology.
There will be a limited number of awards annually subject to the availability of funding to help funded students complete their PhD where their funding programme does not cover the full 4 years. DIT reserves the right not to award all scholarships. The maximum award covers a stipend of €16,000 for 12 months and is subject to the candidate’s successful transfer or confirmation examination. An additional €1,000 for project costs for 12 months, which may include research materials and conference travel, will also be provided.
Eligibility–
- To be eligible for funding, applicants must have successfully completed the transfer/confirmation examination and must achieve a minimum of 30 marks according to the above criteria.
- The number of awards annually will be based on the quality of the applications and the availability of funding.
