The Group of Eight (Go8), a network of universities located in Canberra, Australia has issued a call for applications for its European Fellowships 2011.
The Go8 European Fellowships provide 8 annual fellowships to early career researchers in Europe to work in Go8 universities for up to six months. Each of the fellowship carries an award of AUD 20,000.
Researchers from eligible countries such as Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria and Croatia can apply.
The Go8 European Fellowship scheme recognizes the importance of international contacts for early career researchers. It is envisaged that Fellows will continue to collaborate with Australian research partners when they return to their home institutions.
