The Think Tank has offered scholarship programme for junior researchers who were earlier employed in regional think tanks to spend three months in various regional or western European think tank. These funds are offered to the paid internships and to newly graduated returnees from Western Universities.
The main motto of this initiative is to lend support for such returnees by offering around 10 fellowships per year especially young graduates from Central European University within past three years. This will help young, talented people to enter into regions think tank and will get the opportunity to work under the supervision of highly experienced staff. We aspire to create local competence in policy-relevant research, analysis along with advocacy to help think tanks in recruiting new talent.
Successful candidates for these internships will get the golden opportunity to work with leading think tanks in different countries as Central and Eastern Europe, South Eastern Europe and former Soviet Union and will receive a stipend scaled to local rates.
This program is designed not only to benefit interns but host organizations as well. Internships will last up to six months depending upon research topic and its scope, and will start from January12.
