The Copernicus Center Scholarship for Postdoctoral Researchers, funded by The John Templeton Foundation, is offered to individuals a PhD degree (or equivalent) in the fields of: philosophy, theology, religious studies, anthropology, history and related who hold disciplines.
Preferred research areas:
- Theology of science;
- Philosophy in theology;
- Logic in theology;
- Differences between Eastern and Western Christianity in regard to the relationship between science and theology.
The Copernicus Center offers one scholarship in the aforementioned fields. The scholarship in the amount of $2000 gross will be awarded for 12 months (starting date October 2012).
Eligibility-
- A copy of the PhD diploma in the fields of: philosophy, theology, religious studies, anthropology, history and related disciplines.
- Additional PhD, MA, MS, BA, BS diplomas (additional points).
- Outline of the post-doctoral project.
- Very good or excellent language skills (English).
- Academic publications and talks at academic conferences.
- Participation in research grants
