Centre for Research in Modern European Philosophy (CRMEP) is pleased to offer PhD Studentship funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) for research study in any area of Modern European Philosophy. The awards are offered for a period of three years. The Studentship will be offered for UK-level tuition fees and an annual living grant of £15,590.
The AHRC’s strategic aims are-
- To promote and support the production of world-class research in the arts and humanities.
- To promote and support world-class postgraduate training designed to equip graduates for research or other professional careers.
- To strengthen the impact of arts and humanities research by encouraging researchers to disseminate and transfer knowledge to other contexts where it will make a difference.
- To raise the profile of arts and humanities research and to be an effective advocate for its social, cultural and economic significance.
Eligibility–
- Applicants are expected to hold a good honours degree in a relevant subject
- To have attained a good result (merit or distinction or equivalent) in a postgraduate qualification (MA or equivalent) in Philosophy or a related discipline relevant to their research.
