The Society for New Communications Research has issued a call for applications for its Research Fellowship program. This is a two-year, volunteer-based programs provides an opportunity for selected applicants to collaborate with other fellows on original research and educational programs.
All business leaders, professional communicators, members of the media, futurists, scholars, and technologists from around the globe are welcome to apply.
Applicants are asked to complete the online application. Applicants must provide a detailed summary of their professional and academic backgrounds, three professional/academic references, and a project proposal that is in line with the SNCR’s 2011 priorities:

- Institutionalizing social media in organizations
- Changing modes of delivery for media and entertainment
