Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS) has announced its plans to recommend 7 qualified international exchange students to National Institute for International Education(NIIED) as GKS(Exchange) scholarship students, who will receive full scholarship from the Korean government for the Fall semester 2011(from Sep 2011 to Feb 2012)
If you are a student from the partner university, please drop in the international office at your home university and inquire with your exchange program coordinator as to whether you can apply for the exchange program to HUFS for the fall semester 2011
GKS Exchange Scholarship for 2011 Fall Semester
Eligibility
– Students should be officially nominated by the HUFS international partner universities in the regions listed below
– Students should participate in at least one-semester course (Fall 2011) through the HUFS exchange program.
– Students are required to provide the evidence(transcript) of their GPA of over 3.0 out of 4.5.
– Current exchange students are not eligible to apply for this program.
– Only Undergraduate students are eligible to apply for this scholarship program
Nationality Qualification
– ASEAN 10 Countries
– Central Asian, Middle East and African Countries
– East Europe & other developing countries except China
Scholarship Benefits
– Airfare Reimbursement (Round-trip)
– Monthly Stipend of KRW 800,000 (For 6 months)
– Settlement Allowance of KRW 200,000 (one-off payment)
– Medical Insurance
