The International Master of Science in Rural Development (IMRD) is inviting applications for limited number of full scholarships to young students from any country. The aim of providing IMRD scholarship is to finance students in IMRD programme. Awarded students are expected to study atleast half of IMRD programme at partner awarding them the scholarship. The awardee has to conduct his/her master dissertation at the awarding university.
IMRD Consortium Scholarship covers:
- Tuition fee for the IMRD programme for 2 years.
- Worldwide insurance coverage for 2 years.
- Subsistence allowances for the participation to the IMRD programme for 2 years.
The IMRD master course programme is a 2 year master programme (120 ECTS) jointly organised by 16 worldwide leading universities in rural development and agricultural economics. The methodology consists of a combination of basic and specialised training in technical, economic and social sciences, a case study of one month, an individual master thesis and a high extent of student and scholar mobility.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants of all nationalities are eligible to apply.
- Applicants who meet the IMRD admission requirements and have been be academically admitted by the IMRD Management Board to participate the IMRD programme may apply.
How to Apply
Applicants are required to submit online as well as hard copy of IMRD Consortium Scholarship application form. Selection will be made by the IMRD Management Board.
