The Fund for the Development of Indigenous Peoples (FI) has launched a call for the fifth version of the Graduate “Indigenous Peoples, Human Rights, Governance and International Cooperation” to train native leaders and professionals.
The scholarship is aimed at professionals and indigenous leaders from the 22 member countries of FI, with experience in the promotion and defense of indigenous rights, international cooperation and development with identity.
The program offers 12 scholarships, of which 10 will go to Indian professionals and 2 to the indigenous leaders who have extensive experience in the defense of collective rights of their peoples.
Applications from interested candidates, due to their electronic backups, will be received by the Secretariat of the Indigenous Fund from 14 January to 14 February 2011.
