The Louis Dreyfus Foundation invites the residents from transition and emerging economics throughout Africa, Asia and South America to apply for Louis Dreyfus-Weidenfeld Scholarship and Leadership Program. This opportunity is for candidates who are applying for full-time graduate course of study in the provided areas at the University of Oxford.
The program includes –
- Moral Philosophy Seminar – including moderated discussions and workshops on political philosophy and leadership development.
- Practical skills training in presentation, interviewing, exam and op-ed (‘opposite the editorial page’) writing techniques.
- London Leadership Forum at the end of the academic year.
- Engagement in the Institute for Strategic Dialogue’s projects and conferences.
- Numerous networking opportunities throughout the year.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must belong to transition and emerging economics from Africa, Asia and South America.
- Candidate must be applying for full-time graduate course of study in the provided areas at the University of Oxford.
- Applicants must be willing to return to their country of ordinary residence once the course is completed.
- Applicants must demonstrate an interest in serving the global community through their chosen field of work, including but not limited to, agriculture, health care, environmental and water management, economic, public and foreign policy.
- Applicants must also complete a Weidenfeld Scholarships Questionnaire and upload it, together with their graduate application form, by the deadline, in order for the application to be complete.
