The University of Kentucky is pleased to invite applicants for William C. Parker Diversity Undergraduate Scholarship Program for which subjects are offered by the university.
Factors which are considered in the holistic evaluation of William C. Parker scholarship applications include test scores, grades, an essay, leadership experience, extracurricular activities, awards and recognition, community service, and contribution to diversity.
Awards will be made based on the applicant’s ranking within the competitive pool, with values ranging from $5,000 to $15,000. The incoming freshman William C. Parker Scholarship is a four-year renewable award, contingent upon academic renewal requirements.
Eligibility-
- Applicants must be planning to enroll at the Lexington campus as first-time freshmen in the fall semester of 2013.
- applicants must submit a high school transcript with a minimum unweighted cumulative GPA of 2.50 on a 4.00 scale and a 500-word essay on the topic: How I will contribute to diversity at the University of Kentucky.
- Applicant must be a citizen of the United States of America or an eligible non-citizen
