The Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago invites applications from citizens of Trinidad and Tobago to pursue masters and doctoral degrees for the academic year commencing 2013.
The main purpose of the scholarship is to strengthen ties with the New Zealand Commonwealth. Two (2) nominees for Postgraduate studies – (Master’s and PhD Levels were offered Scholarships. The areas of Study to be awarded
The Priority study sectors are listed as follows:
- Leadership and Governance Economics
- Education
- Health
- Agriculture and Fisheries
- Environmental Studies
- Infrastructure and Utility
- Human Rights and Gender
- Public Sector Governance and Reform
- Bio-security and Food Safety
Post graduate degrees are to be pursued at any accredited University in New Zealand. The scholarship is renewed annually subject to satisfactory performance as evidenced by the attainment of a Grade Point Average of 2.00 or a general score of 50% and over.
University application for admissions is solely the applicant’s responsibility and not the New Zealand scholarship agency.
