Wageningen UR Center for Development Innovation (CDI) will conduct short term course “Managing for impact: An integrated approach to participatory planning, monitoring and evaluation” from 07 – 25 March 2016 in the Netherlands. The program is intended to middle or senior level programme manager, staff or consultant with planning and or monitoring & evaluation responsibilities in a business, government or non-government organization.
In the course, participant will link the theory and concepts of the M4I approach and put M&E at the service of her/his core management processes. Participants will receive individual coaching by peers and course facilitators and will be challenged to translate the content to an approach that is appropriate and feasible back home.
Upon completion of the course you will
- Have strengthened your competence to manage for impact in your own individual sphere of work
- Be able to play a more effective role in helping your organization to manage for impact
- Understand principles and practice of strategic thinking and guidance; effective operations; monitoring and evaluation for change; change management; interactive processes for people engagement and learning; the learning organization; capacities and conditions for M4I
- Have built up a strategic attitude
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be citizen of an NFP country and employed in an NFP country to be eligible for Netherlands
- Participants should have at least a BSc level with three years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in English is required.
