The United States Agency for International Development in Rwanda (USAID/Rwanda) is seeking applications for the School-Community Partnerships for Education program (SCOPE). The primary purpose of the SCOPE program is to improve the literacy outcomes for children in primary grades.
Award Information – USAID intends to provide approximately $8.7 million in total for the life of the activity.
Activities under SCOPE program:
- strengthen the capacity of school leadership to improve student literacy
- increase effective community and parental involvement to improve literacy skills
- foster a culture of reading
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualified applicants may be US and Rwanda organization, individual, non-profit, or for-profit entity.
- Faith-based and community organizations are also eligible to apply.
- Applicants can submit only one application.
