The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking proposals to provide funding to US and non-US NGOs and/or consortia to improve the sustainability of civil society organizations, legitimize their voice, and establish systems and platforms whereby they can contribute as valued participants in Vietnam’s national HIV/AIDS response. USAID in Vietnam has issued this call for a cooperative agreement for the “Pathways for Participation: Strengthening the Civil Society Response to HIV in Vietnam Project.
The Project will focus on mentoring local capacity building lead agencies (LCBLA(s)), strengthening organizational and technical capacity, and developing replicable and effective community-based services
for People Living with HIV (PLHIV) and Most-At-Risk Populations (MARPs). The Project will support CSOs to contribute to the Government of Vietnam’s (GVN) National Strategic Plan for HIV/AIDS.
