Do you want to scale up your impact to your communities and to the region as a whole? If yes, then be a part of Youth4Asia Citizenship and Good Governance competition.
The ADB NGO and Civil Society Center’s Youth Initiative – in collaboration with AsianNGO and ASSIST- have launched the 4th installment of the Youth4Asia Solutions Search: “Youth for Better Governance.”
The competition is looking for completed or ongoing projects that are taking concrete actions on citizenship, governance, and anti-corruption.
Benefits
- Winning projects will receive a USD 3,000 cash grant and an all-expense paid trip to an awards event.
- Winners will also be eligible for incubation, mentoring and other promotional benefits through ADB and its partners.
Focus Areas
- Accountability. Public officials must be accountable or answerable for their actions and responsive to the entity from which their authority is derived.
- Participation. This is the involvement of citizens in governance which include monitoring of government service delivery, planning and budgeting, policy and program development, and the like.
- Predictability. This refers to the institutional process of setting, interpreting and implementing laws and other regulations, all of which require a certain degree of political stability.
- Transparency. Transparency is the availability, accessibility, and clarity of government information that can be used by the public.
Eligibility Criteria
Organizations working with and/or for the youth that are taking concrete action on governance can apply to the solutions search.
