PRESENTATION SUBMISSION DEADLINE: August 10, 2012
Call for Workshop and Poster Proposals are invited at 2013 APC Annual Conference. This conference is being organized on behalf of the Association of Professional Chaplains. This conference will be organized on June 27-30, 2013 at the Hilton in the WALT DISNEY WORLD Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL.
Workshops and posters will not only educate but also challenge and stimulate the 2013 conference theme.
The following objectives when developing your proposal:
- Rediscovering our healing voices within a data-driven culture
- Sustaining our diverse foundations while expanding our horizons
- Making our voyages known through advocacy, research and publication
- Sailing forward with courage, connection and confidence
In addition to Professional Development Intensives and workshops, APC are also calling for poster presentations. Posters offer conference attendees additional ways to learn about innovative programs, best practices, creative solutions and research in the field of chaplaincy care.
The proposal form for 90-minute Workshops and Poster Presentations and the proposal form Professional Development Intensives (formerly known as “Pre-Conference Workshops”) will provide the information that committee members need to know as they begin the selection process.

Friday, August 10, 2012 Deadline for 90 minute and PDI workshop proposal submission
Wednesday, October 31, 2012 Notification of acceptance
Friday, November 16, 2012 Postmark deadline for presenter agreements from selected presenters
Workshop Presenters: Deadline for two-page workshop syllabus
Friday, February 1, 2013: Deadline for poster proposal submission
