Skills Development Fund (SDF) has been announced under Work Development Authority (WDA). The main purpose of this project is to provide grants to firms with the most responsive proposals as an effective instrument to rapidly reduce skills gaps and promote employment. The Skills Development Fund (SDF) will address the Rapid Skills Delivery Component 3 of the SDP by acting as a quick delivery financing mechanism in response to priority skill needs.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- A government or private vocational/technical training center/school
- A legally recognized cooperative or association that offers skills development
- A profit or non-profit making institution that does skills development
- Business partnerships that are involved in skills development
- Local or international NGOs that do skills development
- All proposals must provide all legal and required documents to be prequalified by SDF Secretariat
