Scottish Government International Development Small Grants Programme is inviting International Development Agencies to advance their work overseas and encourage their growth at home.
The program has provided 26 Scottish organisations with grants totaling more than £880,000 since it opened in 2003.It helps to strengthen the third sector in Scotland and create more opportunities for Scottish people to get involved in development work overseas.
Eligible Countries: Malawi, Rwanda, Tanzania, Zambia, Pakistan, Bangladesh and the Indian States of Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Orissa.
Purpose
The fund has been designed to nurture Scottish expertise in international development, encourage innovation and increase the scope and size of international NGOs in Scotland.
Size of Grants
The program will provide £500,000 as total grant amount.

Eligibility Criteria
International development agencies and Scottish-based Non-Governmental Organizations from the above mentioned countries are eligible to apply for the grant.
