Swansea University, College of Law is accepting studentship applications for three-year postgraduate research in Global Financial Law.
The scholarship covers UK/EU tuition fees, plus a maintenance allowance of £17,900 per annum for a maximum of three years. The scholarship is first awarded for a year period and will be renewed for further two years if the student shows satisfactory progress.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Applicants must be UK/EU students.
- Applicants should have (or be expecting to attain) a Class I or good Class II(i) honours degree or equivalent and should normally also hold a good master’s degree, preferably with at least one of these being a degree in law, philosophy, economics, or politics.
- Applicants should propose a topic with a connection to the post-crisis regulation of banks and financial markets, with an emphasis on systemic risk and social and economic inequality.
- The successful candidate will work within the Swansea University Centre for Global Legal Priorities.
