The US Department of State Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration for NGO programs benefiting refugees in the Balkans. This is to support refugees and IDPs benefiting from housing solutions under the Regional Housing Program Balkans in Bosnia and Herzegovina and/or Montenegro.
Award Information
- Proposed program start dates: September, 15, 2015
- Duration of Activity: Program plans for 12 months will be considered.
- Funding Limits:
- Montenegro – $150,000
- Bosnia and Herzegovina – $200,000
- Kosovo – $400,000
Eligibility Information
- NGOs may submit up to one proposal for each country/region: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo.
- No multi-country or regional proposals will be accepted. Proposals may cover one or more of the following sectors/activities.
- Eligible applicants are nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with IRS, other than institutions of higher education, nonprofits without 501(c)(3) status with IRS, other than institutions of higher education, and international organizations.
- Cost sharing, matching, or cost participation is not a requirement of an application.
How to Apply?
- Each applicant is required to:
- Be registered in SAM before submitting its application;
- Provide a valid DUNS number in its application; and
- Continue to maintain an active SAM registration with current information at all times during which it has an active PRM award or an application or plan under consideration by PRM.
- Proposals must be submitted via Grants.gov (not via GrantSolutions.gov).
- Applications must be submitted under the authority of the Authorized Organization Representative at the applicant organization.
