RAF is managed by a consortium of agencies from Pakistan and the UK led by the British Council. The fund aims to stimulatae research that is relevant, accessible and useful to policy makers, and to support advocacy initiative that use research based evidence to influence MNH Policies and practices.
The fund encourages research and/or advocacy proposals from public and private organizations, civil society organization, research institutes, consultants and consortia with the capacity to undertake research and advocacy
RAF is now inviting concept papers for research and/or advocacy projects aimed at generating/using research based evidence to bring about transformational change in MNH policies and practices for poor and marginalized women and communities.
RAF continues to seek proposals for both research and advocacy projects, however in the current round proposals on advocacy will be prioritized. Concept papers must be prepared to address one of the following priority topics:
- Family Planning
- Nutrition
- Gender Based Approaches to Maternal and Newborn Health
- Strengthening Voice and Accountability for Maternal and Newborn Health
