The goal and the objectives of your project are required to be written as 100 words. A goal is a long-term aim, for example, the goal of this fund is helping the kids and youths to combat HIV infection. The objectives are specific targets that could be achieved in one project, and there could be multiple objectives that could be achieved at the end of each stage or each project. These are suggested objectives by the PACF fund:
- HIV patient focused and family-centered approached;
- Greater and meaningful involvement of people living with HIV and AIDS;
- Addressing stigma and combating discrimination: a real barrier to AIDS services to women and girls;
- Optimizing health impacts for patients and clients of education, prevention, and care in sexual and HIV health;
- Generating demands for sexual and reproductive, HIV services and pediatric testing targeting kids and women;
- Focusing on or including advocacy (refer to the Guidance Notes for details).
Activities (300 words) are the detail work of your solution, and you need to convince the reviewers that the solutions are innovative, and will solve the problem with higher-efficiencies. The most important thing is that the activities section has to be closely correlated to the objectives. The activities should include how the community and other organizations are engaged or represented in your project. For example, if your project supports women, you should demonstrate how affected women will help determine the shape of your project and what role they will play in it, and how it will affect kids and young couples. The PACF fund wants to leave the community better equipped systems until after the project to solve problems of HIV infection sustainably.
You may use those activities that have been performed successfully by those previous funded projects which will increase the qualities of your project and the funding possibilities. A list can be used in this section to show your work plan, because it is simple and clear to use a list to show the work plan with time frames and activities.
