The International Finance Corporation (IFC) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Financial Analyst, Fixed Income / Structured Finance, based in Washington DC, USA.

Key Job Responsibilities
The Financial Analyst, Fixed Income / Structured Finance will perform the following functions-
- Significantly contribute to the structuring and execution of investment transactions involving structured finance products, derivatives, and other capital market instruments.
- Actively engage in the structuring and execution of local currency funding transactions in domestic debt capital markets.
- Play a key role in managing the preparation and execution of IFC’s local currency bond issuances
- Build financial models associated with the structuring and pricing of transactions.
- Create presentations for investment review meetings and prepare memos for internal approvals
- Conduct market research in local and international FX and debt capital markets.
- Contribute to business development and the marketing of treasury products to clients, regulatory agencies, and banks
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including international investment banks, local banks, capital market firms, investors, and regulators.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Financial Engineering;
- 1-2 years relevant transaction experience in financial markets, preferably in fixed income and/or structured finance within an investment bank, rating agency, or other capital markets related institution;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; candidates with additional language skills in French, Spanish or Chinese have a competitive advantage;
- Knowledge of FX markets, debt capital markets, and/or structured finance, and enthusiasm for the development of domestic capital markets;
- Sound business judgment;
- Advanced data analysis and management skills and intimate knowledge of information platforms, including Bloomberg and Reuters;
- Strong quantitative skills; advanced knowledge of Excel and other statistical software packages is desirable;
- Attentive to detail and able to multi-task under tight deadlines;
- Good interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work in a team;
- Client interaction experience and ability to thrive in a transaction driven environment;
