International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Human Resource Advisor in Philippines.
IRRI aims to reduce poverty and hunger, improve the health of rice farmers and consumers, and ensure environmental sustainability of rice farming.
Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Human Resource Advisor will perform the following functions-
- Human Resource Services policies, procedures and guidelines to staff in IRRI related to the recruitment and selection of national and global staff.
- Identify priority areas for advisory services and suggest areas for policy improvements.
- Identify problems and recommend solutions in area of expertise.
- Deliver high-quality and timely professional support to supervisors and managers at Headquarters and Country Offices in the field of recruitment and selection process, and advancement activities.
- Maintain a close connection with employees in the sharing of verbal and written information about the current recruitment and selection processes and policies.
- Report important issues identified by stakeholders and recommend solutions.
- Proactively identify issues and recommend solutions for improvement s of recruitment and selection process.
- Ensure effective and efficient administration of human resources issues related to recruitment and selection of national and international staff.
- Maintain, monitor and update database and records on Applicant Tracking System and Position Register module in OCS.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of job market and trends.
- Coordinate the implementation of human resource services related to recruitment, selection, and advancement activities.
- Coordinate with colleagues in other HRS teams and in other units on issues related to recruitment, selection and lateral transfer and advancement activities.
- Coordinate with supervisors and managers on Human Resource Services related to developing, maintaining, and updating their staffing plans.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Personnel Management, Industrial Relations or related field, minimum of 3 years relevant work experience.
- Experience in policy interpretation and providing guidance to ensure compliance.
- Ability to multitask and manage a large and variable work load.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency computer knowledge, comfortable using MS Office and databases.
