United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Procurement Reporting & Spend Analyst in Bangkok, Thailand. The duration for the post is of 1 year.
The Procurement Reporting & Spend Analyst will report to the Team Manager of the Procurement Systems & Analytics Team, and will participate in the design, development and management of the procurement analytics programme, where Spend Analysis reporting is a key component of the programme.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Procurement Reporting & Spend Analyst will performs the following functions-
- Assist in designing, developing and maintaining a robust analytics program including reporting routines of procurement information across UNOPS and centralizing data collection, analysis, and reporting within PG.
- Establish a methodology to collect relevant procurement statistics at UNOPS, ensuring robust, consistent and trustworthy format for data input, collection and output. This will include:
- Preparing and implementing data capture methods and validation protocols.
- Ensure data integration with source data to and from relevant systems.
- Assist the team in the production of the ASR, including analysis and preparing all tables/graphs and contextualize information for the report.
- Analyze UNOPS existing spend and other procurement related information to identify patterns and trends. This includes:
- Conducting spend analysis across all procured categories.
- Conduct analysis for attributes other than spend (for example vendor data, sustainability indicators, contract compliance data, pricing and competitors data).
- Prepare draft communications for a wide variety of stakeholders to validate the findings, to present the results and to establish dialogue on possible solutions.
- Provide timely and accurate procurement related information in a clear and concise manner to support proactive decision making. In particular, the incumbent will work in close collaboration with category managers throughout UNOPS in analyzing and reporting on areas of focus.
- Generate regular, periodic and ad hoc reports on procurement etc. in support of the team, and for internal and external stakeholders.
- Work in close collaboration with the one UNOPS (UNOPS ERP solution) reporting team to provide easy to access views and dashboards to heighten the ability to take action on relevant procurement related focus areas.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Advanced University degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in Statistics, Data Analytics or equivalent is required. A first level University degree with a combination of 2 additional years of relevant past experience may be accepted in lieu of advanced university degree.
- A minimum of 3 years of progressive professional experience out of which at least 2 years in systematically analyzing, evaluating, and reporting business related data and/or statistics is required.
- Demonstrated experience in the field of business statistics, data analytics or business analysis, preferably with focus on procurement. Experience with a variety of commonly used techniques and models relevant for data capture, analysis and presentation.
- Good understanding of business data, statistics and business reporting. Solid understanding of procurement and supply chain management is desired.
- Fluency in English is a requirement. Working knowledge of another UN language, specifically French and/or Spanish will be considered an asset.
