Environmental conservation is the protection, preservation, management, or restoration of natural environments and the ecological communities that inhabit them. We are here with this project, the main goals of the project are to conserve better environment and improve livelihood for the members and the entire community with poverty alleviation with the objectives of the project Promoting environmental conservation through education and practical; Empowering the families economically; Create knowledge awareness; Create Job opportunities; Unleash the members to reach their potentialities; The targeted population to realize their talentedness and capacity building. Historical Background
The area of XXXXX Sub location often suffers very severe droughts. The rain seasons are never secure, even when the season starts well and crops seem to flourish very well you can never be sure of a good harvest not unless the crops get ready. A time it rains beautifully then it cuts in expectantly between the season never to come back again and you are surprised to watch everything drying. It may follow two three seasons with the same fate. In such a situation life becomes very hard to manage and brings with it very difficult, sad and vulnerable realities that you can’t imagine or sometimes expect like watching even the livestock dying which is the only other option for the families to depend on.
These climate complications made the people of the area to think what cab the alternative to support their livelihoods and send their children to school! This pushed them to come together and think for the better option. They agreed to form a self-help group implementing different activities like; preparing bed seeds (nursery), Poultry keeping, digging holes and planting trees, Bee keeping and Table banking.
Why this particular project
The Organization takes this particular project focusing to enhancing the capacity of the members bringing them to the maximum potentials and the entire Community of XXXXX Sub-location Makueni Kenya. One of the project’s key objective is to uplift the XXXX self-help group through environmental conservation for better produce in farming, bedseedpreparing,poultrykeepingandBeekeeping.Findwaystoimprovetheirlivelihood,send their children to school to give them supportive future and a positive change in their lifestyle.

The Organization will empower the members and the entire Community with environmental conservation knowledge, resource mobilization, asset building for poverty eradication, HIV/AIDS and human rights awareness through workshops and seminars. This will give to many a way forward to come out of poverty and find better horizons inlife.
Goals:
To conserve better environment.
The area surfers’ severe droughts and rains often are not reliable, this makes it very hard for the habitants to survive and manage normal human being living. Under these droughts you have to walk kilometers and kilometer looking for water of which you can carry only a few litters. You will do the same walk to take your livestock for drinking. During droughts food becomes a real bother, the day mostly is passed on that, struggling how to manage a meal for the family. The cost of food become double or thrice from the normal season. With better environment the rain season may favor us with better and valuable produce.
The group has young and potential people who can go for better instruction and learning increasing knowledge and boost the impact of the group.
Improve livelihood for the members and the entire community
A given environment will bring better results with farming and any other activity carried for poverty alleviation. So, the group still aims higher, and they are looking forward to living a much better life if they can be enabled to do more by expounding and putting their skills into a wider range of Knowledge and practical to achieve more and bring a positive change of lifestyle, give education to their children and supportivefuture.
Poverty alleviation.
Being that the rain is not reliable in the area the organizations aims to find alternatives ways and methods to comply with life and meet the basic needs and education for their families and children.
The group hopes to do more by organizing seminars and workshops on coping with difficult life situations, Motivational talks are also an important tool that XXXXX self- help group hopes will gradually help to encourage and influence the majority to forge into the future with hope and look for opportunities for better life.
Geographical coverage area, and population.
The Sub-location of XXXXX covers an estimated geographical area of 301.00 sq.km. and a population of 31.277 according to the National census of 2009 of which probably as grown with two thirds by now.
Organization’s plans for the future.
The Mission of XXXXX self-help Organization is to empower the members and the entire Community living in XXXXX Sub-location with tactics of poverty eradication through environmental care for better production in their farming, job creation in dealing with poverty alleviation activities and even entrepreneurship development so that they can participate effectively in the development of their communities. If we the needed funds are available, this project will be involved in ensuring that the members and the targeted population get opportunities for a better life. If this project succeeds, a decided amount of money will be given to the members to strengthen their capital and boost their poverty eradication activities, production and markets to better the economy of the family and send their children to school. Organize seminars and workshops for instructions and creating awareness in the already indicated areas. Some very young members will be given some instructions on knowledge, capacity building, practical and implementing skills to boost the impact and skills in the group as well leading to gainful employment thus bettering their livelihood.
Results
If this Organization will get the necessary funds, we shall attain these results:

Evaluation Procedure
The Organization will put a committee for the smooth implementation of the project; we have benchmarks that will assist to oversee the smooth running of the project.
