Applications are invited from the deserving candidates for the post of Client Technologies Analyst at the World Bank. Proficient command of the English language is essential. Working knowledge of Japanese is desirable. Location of the job is Tokyo, Japan.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum education:BA/BS degree in computer science or information systems, or professional skills training in systems management).
- Minimum years of relevant experience: 4 years
- Excellent knowledge of the Bank’s standard EDx environment and troubleshooting skills. Excellent problem solving skills coupled with the ability to anticipate, identify and define problems, seek root causes, and develop and implement practical and timely solutions.
- Ability to analyze and evaluate business needs, product capabilities and cost benefit required for assessing and evaluating external service providers and their products.
- Ability to clearly define mutual expectations of self and others, to take appropriate actions to ensure obligations are met and to revise standards in response to change.
- Ability to express technical and business concepts, ideas, feelings, opinions and conclusions orally and in writing, and to listen attentively.
- Willingness to place team needs and priorities above personal needs, and to involve others in making decisions that affect them, drawing on the strengths of colleagues and giving credit to others’ contributions and achievements.
- Comfortable working with internal and external clients at all levels in a multicultural and fast-paced environment.
- Proficient command of the English language. Working knowledge of Japanese is desirable.
